Ferring Beach Walk

February 05, 2016  •  Leave a Comment

I went for a very pleasant walk along Ferring beach, nr. Worthing, the other day. The idea is that my friend and I intend to walk the South Downs Way during the summer but his feet have caused him problems for several years now. He has recently invested in new boots from America and specialized insteps so now we are walking regularly to test his limits. The aim is to get him up to 10-12 miles without discomfort; so far so good!

This time, our walk took us along the beach at Ferring, stopping for an excellent lunch at the Bluebird Cafe. The weather was pleasantly bright with patchy clouds closing in which caused it to get a little cold when obscuring the sun. We did manage to get a few good pictures though.
